Once back at Camp Suisse, our campers got to choose their afternoon activity. They could either do some arts and crafts, take part in some sporty activities, or chill out with friends. It was a nice, relaxed afternoon after such an early start!
Our campers indulged in a delicious chicken curry for dinner, and then Blue Group campers spent the evening watching a movie and enjoying a delicious, and well-deserved, Swiss hot chocolate.
All in all, it was an amazing day!

After a nutritious and delicious breakfast, Red and Blue Group had their first language lessons. Campers were divided into groups according to the languages they have chosen to learn and to their level. During the classes everyone took part in introducing activities and icebreakers games in order to get to know each other better but using a foreign language.
The afternoon for Red and Blue Group was dedicated to Mountain Adventure. During this time the campers were taught different techniques and skills to survive in the woods. For example they learnt how to make a fire, how to cook when camping and how to set up a hammock. All the campers had a great time and loved this mini adventure in the woods.
After a delicious dinner of beef burritos the campers were ready for evening activity which was evening sports on the football pitch.
We all had such a fantastic day and are looking forward to going to the glacier!

After a good night’s sleep at the Alpine Refuge, our campers woke up to the sun shining into their rooms. A nice and simple hot breakfast was prepared by our chefs to prepare our campers for the short walk back down to the Camp Suisse centre. After the walk back to the centre, everyone went back to their rooms to quickly pack their swimming costumes because they were going to… The Aqua Parc!
Less than an hour after arriving back from the hike, our campers were all on the bus, heading down the mountain for some Aqua Parc fun!
Once at the Aqua Parc, our campers set up a ‘base camp’, ate their lunches and split up into groups to go around the Aqua Parc with. After a couple of hours of running around, going on the water slides, lazy rivers and swimming, our campers reunited in the changing room and our campers all headed back to the bus.

After climbing, our campers then played some team-building games, which were enjoyed by all! Not only did our campers get to know each other better, they also laughed and shared a good time.
To finish off a brilliant day, our campers did some arts and crafts. After language classes, our campers set off for the Montreux Jazz Festival.
Once our campers arrived at Montreux, they sat down to eat in the sun. Our campers then spent their time looking at the numerous stalls, followed by a live performance by the Urecht University student band.
