Wednesday 7th August 2019 – Taney and Talent Shows

After a warm and cosy start to the day at the Ski Club, the Reds and Blues decided to embark on their hike back to camp after breakfast. Un-phased by the rain, the campers marched back to camp in high sprits, singing songs and chanting, as today they were off to the AquaParc. After quickly changing into dry clothes, the campers then went to the restaurant to have Hot Chocolate to warm up before lunch and leaving. 

At the AquaParc, the campers were frantically running around trying to get on as many slides as the possibly could! Whilst it wouldn’t be possible to do them all, they certainly tried their best! In the evening, both the English and the French classes performed in the Languages Talent Show in front of the whole camp. The French class dressed up and painted their faces for an incredible performance of ‘Les Trois Petit Cochons’ (The Three Little Pigs) whilst the English class danced and sang to ‘Uptown Funk’. One thing is for sure, they entertained the whole Camp!

The Greens and Yellows started their day with a morning Yoga session in the Taney Auberge, before hiking back to camp on time for lunch. Lunch consisted of paninis, make-your-own sandwiches, jacket potatoes and hot dogs. In the afternoon, the campers had their last language lessons of the session where they made their final preparations for their evening entertainment: language karaoke!
