As the rain came down over Camp Suisse, our spirits were certainly not dampened as the Greens and Yellows headed to the biggest indoor waterpark in Europe!
The Aqua Parc certainly did not disappoint; the adrenaline was pumping after endless rides certainly not for the faint-hearted. For a relaxing break, campers chilled out on the lazy river and in the wave pool before braving the rapid slides once again. Several hours later, having finally exhausted everything the Aqua Parc had to offer (including the waffle and popcorn stalls!), it was back on the bus for a trip to Montreux’s world renowned Jazz Festival!
Campers enjoyed a relaxed stroll along the banks of beautiful Lake Geneva, browsing in the stalls and listening to the music blasting out over the lake. The campers soaked up the electric atmosphere and filled the streets of Montreux with excitable laughter. Many purchased interesting souvenirs from the stalls and everyone took advantage of the fantastic selection of international cuisine on offer. It was back to camp for a late dinner and then to bed for our campers after an action packed day. A swinging day was had by all!
