Red, Blue, Green and Yellow Group ÛÒ Husky Dog Sledding!
14th August 2014
It was an early start for all the campers because we were going all the way up to 3000m at the glacier – wow that is high!
At the top the campers had a ride on a sled which was pulled by Husky dogs, that was a great experience. Then it was time to hurtle down the slope of the world’s highest alpine roller-coaster!
In the afternoon everyone made their way back down and to Villeneuve for a splash around in the pool and lake!
Back at Camp Suisse everyone one was ready for a quiet night after such a busy day, so it was time to settle down with a movie and a nice hot chocolate – delicious!

13th August 2014
All the campers climbed aboard the Camp Suisse coach which took them to the fantastic Aqua Parc!
Everyone had their swimming costumes on in a flash and were straight to splashing around in the many pools and
Jacuzzis. Soon the campers were whizzing down the water slides and having a great time!
Back at Camp Suisse in the evening, it was ‘eyes down’ ready to call a ‘full house’ in bingo!
Red. Blue, Green and Yellow ÛÒ Language Lessons and more adventure!

In the morning all the campers worked hard in their language lessons and had great fun getting to grips with the new and improved language skills they are gaining!
Once everyone had some refreshment at lunch time, it was activity time in the afternoon!
The Red and Blue Group made their way to the Camp Suisse crag for some climbing, meanwhile the campers in Green and Yellow Group had some fun on the mountain bikes!
Once everyone had made their way back to Camp Suisse from their activities, it was a great evening together as one big team playing some sports!
Red and Blue Group ÛÒ In the maze!
11th August 2014
The campers in Red and Blue Group boarded the Camp Suisse coach in the morning and headed down the mountain to Labyrinth.
The adventure began with lots of playing on the inflatable games and then looking for treasures in the huge maze!
In the afternoon the campers made their way out of the maze and then were ready for the next excursion of the day!
Soon everyone arrived at the International Olympic Museum and began exploring the exhibition on the history of the Olympic Games and about training to become an Olympic athlete.
Back at Camp Suisse, the evening entertainment required the campers to put on their dancing shoes for the dance class!
Green and Yellow Group ÛÒ On the Zip-Wire!
The campers from Green and Yellow Group had a great adventure planned for the day!
Everyone arrived at Parc Adventure where they tackled several aerial assault courses and zip-wires! The campers conquered their fears as they took the challenge head on!
In the afternoon the campers boarded the Camp Suisse coach which took them to the International Olympic Museum. After making use of the outdoor running track, everyone ventured inside to re-live the world record attempts from famous champions and to learn about the history of the Olympic Games!
Back at Camp Suisse in the evening the campers took part in a history of dance class!
Red and Blue Group ÛÒ Mad skills on the mountain bikes!

It was a brilliant first day of activities at Camp Suisse!
The campers in Red and Blue Group began their day with a healthy breakfast to kick start their first language lessons.
In the afternoon everyone went out on the mountain bikes and practiced their skills on the obstacle course – the Activity Leaders were very impressed with the camper’s skills and confidence on the bikes!
For the evening the Pastoral Leaders had a great evening planned – it was Camp Suisse Casino night! All the campers had some great poker faces!
Green and Yellow Group ÛÒ The Crag!
The campers in Green and Yellow Group had a great first day!
Everyone got stuck right in to their language lessons, the tutors can see great potential and they were impressed with the productivity in the class!
In the afternoon the glorious sun was shining and the campers headed to the Camp Suisse crag for some outdoor rock climbing! The groups were taught how to belay and to climb some challenging routes.
During the evening, the Pastoral Leaders opened the Camp Suisse Casino – the campers played Poker, Blackjack and Roulette!

It is just too exciting on arrivals day, with the new friendly faces all around and a sense of wonder!
It may be the last session for Camp Suisse this summer but with what we have planned, it will sure go out with a bang!
All Colour Groups – That’s a Wrap!

Yesterday all the campers went out on an excursion together and everyone went to Lake Geneva for some super-fast banana boating!
It was a great day and the campers also got to go for a swim or just relax. The campers definitely made some waves!
Back at Camp Suisse the campers enjoyed the Award Ceremony and then the DJ turned up the volume for the disco! It was a great party to celebrate the ending of Session Three and B!
It is sad to see some of our campers leave today and others tomorrow, but we have had a great time here and hope to see you soon!
Red Group ÛÒ climbing to the Top!

The campers had a great time in their language lessons in the morning and impressed the tutors with their progression! Well Done!
In the afternoon everyone went to the crag for a climb on a real rock face! The campers had lots of fun and got to practice their skills developed on the climbing wall back at camp.
In the evening the campers played Dracula! This is where they have to solve clues and riddles in order to get items that will defeat Dracula – this means getting water balloons and throwing them at Dracula!
