Advance Information - Forms to Complete

We ask that you submit these forms just as soon as possible

Travel restrictions and entry requirements

Please keep your eye on the official website for current rules on entering Switzerland.

If the rules around entry from your country change so that you can no longer reasonably travel to Switzerland, we will refund your camp fee or roll your place to a future camp session.

If your child needs a PCR test in the 72 hours before the end of camp then we can organise this.

Visiting Camp on Arrivals Day

Due to COVID-19 we have a number of procedures in place for parents when dropping, collecting and visiting your child at Camp Suisse this summer:

  • Face masks to be worn in accordance with guidelines from the FOPH
  • Complete contact tracing upon arrival
  • Sadly for this summer parents will not be able to enter the campers’ accommodation chalets or bedrooms on arrivals day
  • Please do not come to camp if you are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19

What to Wear

The weather in the Swiss Alps throughout the summer months is usually sunny and warm with an average daytime temperature of 25 degrees in the Camp Suisse region.
In our mountainous environment we do also experience cold wet weather from time to time.

Technology at Camp Suisse & Contacting your Child

Technology at Camp Suisse

  • Telephones and all other electronic devices including laptops, iPads and kindles are collected upon campers’ arrival to camp.
  • At Camp Suisse we like to focus on developing campers’ key personal skills through a great range of fun, interactive outdoor and educational activities. We do not allow access to the internet for any campers.
  • Unfortunately we cannot allow campers to keep their phones with them to use as cameras so if you do wish your youngster to take pictures, a separate camera is the best way to do this.
  • Telephones and other wi-fi devices are collected upon campers’ arrival to camp.

Designated Contact Number

  • Campers join an age-specific colour group upon arrival. For each colour group there is a contact telephone number on which you will be able to reach your child via the member of staff responsible for their group.
  • You can also contact your child on their personal mobile phone if they have one.
  • The only time to call campers is between 17h30 and 18h30 (CEST) each day – their ‘shower hour’ – as campers will be having far too much fun to speak to Mum and Dad outside of these times!
  • Campers who bring a mobile phone to camp are permitted to use them during the above times only.
  • If you would like to send a written message to your youngster at any time please email us via and the message will be printed and passed on via your child’s Group Leader.
