Technology at Camp Suisse & Contacting your Child

Technology at Camp Suisse
IMG_7328-XL

  • Telephones and all other electronic devices including laptops, iPads and kindles are collected upon campers’ arrival to camp.
  • At Camp Suisse we like to focus on developing campers’ key personal skills through a great range of fun, interactive outdoor and educational activities. We do not allow access to the internet for any campers.
  • Unfortunately we cannot allow campers to keep their phones with them to use as cameras so if you do wish your youngster to take pictures, a separate camera is the best way to do this.
  • Telephones and other wi-fi devices are collected upon campers’ arrival to camp.

Designated Contact Number

  • Campers join an age-specific colour group upon arrival. For each colour group there is a contact telephone number on which you will be able to reach your child via the member of staff responsible for their group.
  • You can also contact your child on their personal mobile phone if they have one.
  • The only time to call Junior campers is between 17h00 and 18h00 CEST each day. The only time to call Senior campers is between 17h30 and 18h30 CEST each day – their ‘shower hour’ – campers will be having far too much fun to speak to Mum and Dad outside of these times!
  • Campers who bring a mobile phone to camp are permitted to use them during the above times only.
  • If you would like to send a written message to your youngster at any time please email us via printing@campsuisse.com and the message will be printed and passed on via your child’s Group Leader.
