Camp Suisse group leaders need to have a positive attitude to work and a genuine interest in kids and young people. The ability to build a good rapport with children is important. It is helpful if you have experience with children, first aid training, and are keen on sports and the outdoors. Must be flexible and adaptable and happy to step in as required. You would be very welcome to engage in the wealth of activities going on at Camp in your down-time. Accommodation is shared with other summer resort staff.
Personal requirements / characteristics:
Must be Registered UK Childcarer and have proven childcare experience with references. Would suit 'outdoorsy' type with interest in hiking, biking, summer sports etc. Driving license advantageous. We are looking for a mature and responsible individual with good communication skills and good judgment. You must be kind and caring and have the ability to plan and organise effectively. You would work on your own a lot but would still be part of the overall summer team and so a desire to interact with others is useful. The essential element of all Camp Suisse sports and activity programmes is to improve skills and confidence in each discipline; development and learning is essential. Sports and activities are delivered in a safe, controlled environment in a manner which is great fun for participants of all ages and which fosters real enthusiasm for the exercise.

Camp Suisse Activity Leaders are talented and adaptable individuals with a genuine passion for their sports or activities. You must be mature, punctual, professional and responsible with a real enthusiasm for the outdoors and for educating and teaching children and teenagers. All sessions are to be structured, planned and progressive to suit the needs of each group of individuals. First Aid training and relevant qualifications in your chosen discipline(s) are required. You must have the CTC / OTC Mountain Biking Leader Award and / or the SPA Climbing Award or alternatively a sports-focussed coaching qualification eg the LTA Coaching Assistant Level 2 or the FA Level 1 Certifcate in Coaching Football. You will focus on giving classes in your specialised subject (mountain biking, climbing or sports coaching) but will also be required to run other activities and sports throughout the camp on a day-to-day basis. As this is a residential position, Activity Leaders are also involved in other areas of the camp including evening entertainment, night time supervision and domestic duties as required.

We are recruiting for supervisors in a number of areas within the housekeeping team including restaurant managers, breakfast shift supervisors, lunch co-ordinators.
Key Duties - some or all of the following:

• Create and execute menu plans including attention to special diets and allergies
