Camper's perspective: It was excellent that there was a vegetarian option every night for dinner. I had loads of fun and met so many new people. Activities were excellent and I learnt many new things. To be repeated!

How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: Both Glen and Ella thoroughly enjoyed their time with you and even the 'extra' day - again apologies and thanks! We were pleased to know that there was a lot of French spoken.
Camper’s perspective: It was really good, the rooms were nice and big and the selection of food was great.
Best bits: The trip down to the valley where we went rock climbing on real rocks, it was a nice change from the wall in the sports hall.
How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: Perfect. Plusses: International mixture of kids and staff; relaxed atmosphere; strict programme and lots of sport - Great! Kids have lots of fond memories and are still sharing them with us (occasionally of course).
Camper’s perspective: It was cool :-). I have made a lot of friends because we did everything together :-). My Group Leader was very nice.
Best bits: The dinner and night activities. Made by yourself banana split at the camping. Aquaparc and casino night. Banana boating. That was lots of fun :-) :-).
Worst bit: I miss all of my friends now :-(.

How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: As soon as my son came back, he asked me he wanted to go to Camp Suisse next year not for 2 weeks but 4 weeks. It means the camp was fantastic for him.
Camper’s perspective: The camp was awesome and fun.
Best bits: Bowling and karting, casino night, rock climbing and mountain biking.
Worst bit: I think you should make the casino night longer.

Camper’s perspective: 1. Friendly atmosphere. 2. Many different activities to try - some extremely strange but fun. 3. Good and wide variety of food. 4. Bedrooms had a lot of space. 5. Well organised time-table. 6. Good language tuition.
Best bits: Camping - something many people have not tried before but still extremely fun sleeping in the tents etc.
Worst bit: Tennis.
How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: Excellent. Every time I heard from Grace or viewed her photos, she sounded and looked very happy.
Camper’s perspective: Everything was well organised. Staff picked me up at the airport, took me to camp and on the day, I instantly made a whole pack of good friends!
Best bits: Staff, activities, friends, camping.. mostly everything. :-).
Worst bit: Nothing in particular. We walked for ages but it was very good exercise.
How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: Well run. The kids were very happy with the camp so I am as well! Camp Leaders were friendly and respectful. Loved the red shirt! Absolutely love the Camp CD's - they are so memorable of the children's experiences!

Best bits: Dog sledding on the glacier - by far the most exciting, along with the Alpine Rollercoaster. Loved all the themed nights, especially casino night. Looking forward to returning next year - hopefully 2 sessions.

How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: My view is mainly based on Daan's experiences, which were great.
Camper’s perspective: Daan, half way through the first week, told his friends next year he'll be staying a month at Camp Suisse. Well, that's a bit much for me, but it shows how much he enjoyed himself.
Best bits: Banana boat and Aquaparc.
Worst bit: He couldn't think of any, truly!
How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: Kitty's enjoyment and overall sense of belonging and security made it worthwhile for us.This was the best and most positive experience Kitty could have had. Thank you!
Camper’s perspective: Kitty absolutely loved it! She enjoyed the variety of activities, the sense of camaraderie with the other kids and the French lessons boosted her confidence in school.
Best bits: The activities and the helpers. She particularly spoke about her team leader Phil but the commitment of the staff and their interaction with Kitty were invaluable.
Worst bit: I think she felt the food choices were a bit limited.
How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: The girls became so independent so quickly and we were amazed at how they developed over such a short space of time. They had a blast! They absolutley loved their French lessons with Agathe. They had a fantastic time and would not change anything.

Best bits: Making friends, learning more French, taking part in a very large range of new activities. We loved the counsellors - so friendly and helpful. Basketball was fun and we loved the after dinner activities especially casino.
Worst bit: Cleaning our rooms at the end of camp.
How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: We didn't accompany our children so can only rely on sketchy reports from kids or the odd phone call, and speaking to the group organiser but our kids LOVED it and from our point of view that's important. Campers' perspectives: The boys had such a great time doing everything without exception.
Best bits: Dog sledding, swimming at the lake, games, activities, everything really!
Worst bit: Not staying longer.

How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: Nik came back home very happy with lots of great memories. This is what matters for us as parents. We will be more than happy to send him to the camp next summer.
Camper’s perspective: I think the camp was the best thing that had ever happened to me. It was exciting and I really enjoyed it.
Best bits: I liked the camping when I got to catch frogs and keep them for the day. I made new friends and going to the adventure park.
Worst bit: There was no worst thing for me.

How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: The facilities and food were very good. The staff were excellent. I liked the ‘Night Angel’ idea. Her attitude to learning French is now much more positive.
Camper’s perspective: Aisling had a great time. She enjoyed all the trips- to the chocolate factory, the cheese factory, the glacier and the adventure park. She really liked all the staff.
Best bits: Aisling had a really great time. The fact that the staff were so friendly, kind and fun was the key factor for her.
Worst bit: She couldn’t think of a single negative!
How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: Enjoyable and exciting. A little too organised - no time to "do nothing" or read a book. A good chance to practice English.
Camper’s perspective: Enjoyable, fun, great.
Best bits: Met people from all over the world. Glacier and sleeping in tent.

How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: Feedback from Rhys was entirely positive - which is rare! We were impressed by the mix of nationalities at the camp and found it great that they were mixed up - i.e. sleeping arrangements.
Camper’s perspective: Very enjoyable - really good fun and a chance to meet lots of nice people.
Best bits: The camping trip. Mountain biking.
Worst bit: Nothing.
How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: We appreciated the friendly and peaceful ambiance of Camp Suisse when we left the children: We did not feel the urge of "doing doing doing" things that some summer camps tend to have!!!! We felt our children were about to spend a good time among a friendly little group of nice children coming from all over the world and a nice staff of leaders with no prejudices.
Camper’s perspective: Hélène - Good. It is the best camp I went to, but I hate camps (!!!). Antoine - Super. I want to come again. Hadrian - Super. I want to come again.
Best bits: They all appreciated the great variety of activities: museum, sport, laugh, and the kindness of the team and leaders. Hélène - Food was nice (compliment from a French gourmet!). Antoine - Mountain biking, hiking. Hadrien - Banana boating, aquaparc.
Worst bit: Hélène - Not enough time to sleep at night. Antoine - Nothing (except horse riding but he managed not to ride!). Hadrien - Walks, hiking.

Camper’s perspective: Great! The activities were great fun and I got to try lots of things I’d never done before.
Best bits: Either going banana boating or going to the Aquaparc.
Worst bit: Staying at the camp doing sports and team games.

How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: A good opportunity to sort things out for themselves! A healthy holiday without television and a lot of physical activity. I felt I could trust the staff. Don’t forget to specify that there is a possibility to wash clothes, this would simplify packing.
Camper’s perspective: They all enjoyed their time very much and were very excited about all the different activities.
Best bits: Alberto enjoyed sports most of all, Pietro preferred the afternoon activities. Matteo’s favourite was also sport, he really liked the banana boat outing.
Worst bit: They didn’t particularly care for the food.

Worst bit: The weather - rainy!
How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: Theo had a wonderful time, met some interesting people, enjoyed a range of new experiences and matured visibly in two weeks.
Camper’s perspective: Theo had a good time, enjoyed his room-mate and the general facilities. He loved the staff, mountain biking, getting fit and hiking. He loved the beautiful environment.
Best bits: Getting a girlfriend. The Adventure Park was by far and away the best activity. Hike was hard but I loved it.
Worst bit: Getting dumped by said girlfriend. The horse riding - didn’t enquire as to ability and therefore didn’t extend, advance or even match needs / ability.
How was camp? - Parents’ perspective: Excellent. Some sort of report about the drowned i-pod would have been good.
Camper’s perspective: My time at the camp was educational and fun. I made so many new friends and mostly enjoyed myself all the time.
