Front of House Manager

Ages: 21+

The Front of House Manager position is suitable for an individual with supervisory or management experience in the food services industry. Supported by a small team of front of house staff and by the kitchen team, the Front of House Manager is responsible for the smooth-running of the restaurant. This includes group dinner services for Camp Suisse Ski camps and also à la carte services for lunch and breakfast in the public restaurant.

Camp Suisse Ski is looking for a friendly, well-motivated individual who is passionate about food and customer service. Working alongside our friendly Head Chef and overseeing our hospitality function, you must be a good team player and able to lead from the front.

Key Duties:

  • Be part of the Camp Suisse Ski middle management team
  • Manage the Camp Suisse Ski front of house operation and oversee a small team of staff
  • Work closely with the kitchen team and the rest of the management team
  • Set staff rotas and keep associated records
  • Oversee meal services in the restaurant
  • Monitor food supplies and carry out stock takes
  • Offer an excellent standard of customer service to our campers, guests and members of the public

Personal requirements / characteristics:

A good knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene is useful, as is experience in the food service industry. Experience  running events and of managing a team would be useful.

  • Accommodation for the duration of your contract
