We are looking for a category D driver (PCV + CPC) who is more than a driver! Specifically a good ‘all-rounder’, a flexible, adaptable, capable individual who is forward-thinking, self-motivated and with good planning and organisational skills. You must enjoy driving in all conditions, including snow, and having an interest in our other camp activities and sports is a huge advantage. This is a varied and interesting role with both driving and non-driving responsibilities.

Camp Suisse Ski is looking for a qualified, confident PCV Driver with a full Category D licence, CPC, and digital tachograph card, but who is more than just a driver. This is a dynamic, varied role for a capable all-rounder who enjoys being part of a busy camp environment. You’ll be an essential part of the team, delivering reliable and safe transportation services while also supporting camp operations in other ways.

If you’re organised, proactive, enjoy working with people, and love driving in the mountains, even in winter conditions, this could be the perfect seasonal opportunity. An interest in outdoor activities or interacting with campers is a bonus!

Location: The role is predominantly based at our main camp in Les Crosets, a stunning but remote mountain village in the Swiss Alps. Surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery, Les Crosets offers the perfect environment for us to operate our camp, having minimal local facilities in the summer, but a beautiful family-friendly ski resort in winter. We also run camps in alternative locations, so you may be required to relocate for short periods to deliver your role elsewhere throughout the season.

Site Support Staff

Senior Bar Staff (French-speaking)

Age 21+

Camp Suisse Ski is seeking dynamic, motivated French-speaking Senior Bar Staff to lead our restaurant and bar team in delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests throughout the winter season. This role requires a confident, hands-on leader who is fluent in French and English, and who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of all front of house operations, including the restaurant and bar areas. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate meal services, manage special dietary needs, and ensure high standards of cleanliness, efficiency and guest satisfaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous hospitality leadership experience – such as a restaurant supervisor, bar manager or front of house team leader – who is ready to take ownership of a key guest-facing department in an exciting alpine setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage front of house staff during all meal and bar services (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening service)

  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the restaurant and bar areas, including cleanliness, set-up and service standards

  • Serve guests directly at the bar and in the restaurant, including preparing hot drinks, cocktails, and other beverages

  • Take guest orders at the till, process payments, and oversee cash handling procedures

  • Liaise with kitchen and catering teams regarding menu plans, food allergens, and special diets

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of HACCP and hygiene procedures

  • Oversee stock control and stocktaking for both restaurant and bar supplies

  • Maintain accurate administrative records (staff rotas, HACCP logs, timesheets, order forms)

  • Train and motivate a diverse front of house team

  • Manage guest relations in a courteous, professional, and proactive manner

  • Serve as the main point of contact for guest queries relating to food and beverage service

Personal requirements/Characteristics

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both French and English, spoken and written, as this is essential for communicating effectively with guests, staff, and suppliers. You should have previous experience in a front of house supervisory or management role within the hospitality sector, with strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Competence in bar service, including cocktail and coffee preparation, is required, alongside a solid understanding of food service operations, allergen management, and HACCP protocols. You must be comfortable multitasking, working under pressure, and maintaining high attention to detail. Familiarity with till systems and cash handling procedures is essential. We are looking for someone who is proactive, flexible, and brings a hands-on approach to problem solving, while also being professional, approachable, and genuinely enthusiastic about delivering excellent service.

Cleaner/Housekeeper

Camp Suisse is looking for friendly, reliable individuals to be part of the team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across our hotel and camp facilities. As a Cleaner/ Housekeeping Staff Member, you’ll help create a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for campers, guests, and staff alike.

Working as part of a small cleaning team, you’ll carry out daily and deep cleaning tasks in guest rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and dining spaces, ensuring everything is kept to an excellent standard. This is a key behind-the-scenes role that directly impacts the comfort, health, and safety of everyone on site.

Front of House / Bar Staff (French-Speaking)

Camp Suisse Ski is looking for friendly, well-motivated individuals who are passionate about the bar / catering industry. You must be a good team player who is at ease working with a range of individuals. You will be required to liaise with campers, group leaders, pastoral staff and guests about food allergies and special dietary needs and with our team of chefs about ingredients, menu plans, food stocks and HACCP. Assistant Chef

Ages: 19+

At Camp Suisse, food is at the heart of the camper and staff experience. In a fast-paced camp and hotel environment with many mouths to feed, we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Chefs who are passionate about cooking and can deliver high-quality meals in a dynamic kitchen setting.

The Assistant Chef plays a key role in supporting the Head Chef and ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen. You will be second in command, helping to manage meal services, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute to the preparation of fresh, simple, and nutritious food for campers and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities

1. Communication & Leadership

  • Lead the kitchen team during busy service times, maintaining a calm and professional environment.

  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team, supporting kitchen porters, junior staff, and the wider camp team.

  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house and camp staff regarding meal times and dietary requirements.

2. Kitchen Operations and Food Preparation

  • Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking.

  • Take charge of running and managing meal services in the Head Chef’s absence.

  • Prepare meals according to a set menu plan and budget.

  • Cook and plate food to a high standard across various stations.

  • Ensure all meals are delivered on time and in line with daily service schedules.

  • Support daily food prep for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.

3. Participation & Teamwork

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen and service area at all times.

  • Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene procedures in line with HACCP regulations.

  • Ensure the safe storage and handling of all food items and kitchen equipment.

  • Assist with daily cleaning, waste disposal, and inventory checks.

Personal requirements / characteristics:

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Chef role will have solid experience in a professional kitchen environment, with a strong understanding of HACCP and food safety standards. Excellent kitchen skills, including confident knife handling and the ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, are essential. Group Leader

Ages: 19+

The Group Leader is at the heart of every camper’s experience at Camp Suisse Ski, ensuring they have an unforgettable winter in the Swiss Alps. We’re looking for responsible, enthusiastic, fun, and hardworking individuals with a genuine desire to give each camper a safe, exciting, and rewarding stay.

Your role is to manage and care for a group of campers, primarily outside of ski lesson times, while leading activities, providing pastoral support, and ensuring their safety, well-being, and enjoyment throughout their stay.

Location: The role is predominantly based at our main camp in Les Crosets, a beautiful family-friendly ski resort in the Swiss Alps. We also run ski camps in alternative locations, so you may be required to relocate for short periods to deliver your role elsewhere throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities

1. Communication & Camper Support

  • Act as the main point of contact for your campers, answering questions, providing reassurance, and escalating concerns when necessary (“if in doubt, check it out”).
  • Liaise daily with local ski school instructors to coordinate lesson times, meeting points, and share feedback on camper progress.
  • Communicate professionally with visiting school teachers, group leaders, and Camp Suisse management regarding daily programs and camper welfare.
  • Attend regular staff meetings to review schedules, give feedback, and discuss camper needs.
  • Provide clear daily briefings so campers are prepared for ski lessons, après ski, and evening activities.
  • Report promptly to management any concerns about camper safety, health, or happiness.

2. Group Leadership & Activity Delivery

  • Take responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of a group of campers for the duration of their stay.
  • Lead and supervise your group during meals, free time, and all non-skiing activities, ensuring they are safe, motivated, and engaged.
  • Organise and deliver après ski and evening entertainment programs.
  • Offer feedback on the success and popularity of activities and camper engagement.
  • Assist with camper wake-up routines and preparation for ski lessons.
  • Ensure accurate daily reporting on camper well-being and safety (Monday.com).
  • Support other activity sessions or excursions as required.
  • Occasional ‘On Call’ shifts to support campers unable to partake in lessons.

3. Participation & Teamwork

  • Assist with changeover days, including preparing accommodation for arriving groups and supporting departures.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organisation in camp facilities.
  • Take responsibility for the correct use, care, and return of all equipment.
  • Fully participate in staff induction and ongoing training.
  • Be a supportive and positive member of the team, ready to help colleagues and contribute to a friendly, inclusive environment.

Personal requirements / characteristics:

It is vital you have a genuine passion for working with children and young adults. The ability to build a good rapport with campers from a range of backgrounds and have the maturity to confidently liaise with teachers, adults and suppliers is extremely important.

As you will be personally accountable for the campers in your care, successful candidates will need to be mature and responsible with strong leadership skills.

This is a very demanding role, working 6 days a week and therefore it is helpful if you thrive in a busy environment and enjoy the unique team environment a seasonal job offers. Above all you should be a team player who is kind, caring, and great fun! You need to be flexible as there are additional duties involved in this role, such as cleaning and change over of hotels, commonly associated with seasonal roles. It is helpful if you have experience working with children, first aid training, and are keen on sports and the outdoors, in particular skiing and snowboarding.

The House Parent Manager position is suitable for a mature, responsible, and organised individual with experience managing a team of staff. You should be hard working, professional with good decision-making skills and a genuine interest in children and young people. The aim at Camp Suisse is to provide round the clock care to campers; the House Parents as a team enable this to continue outside the hours of timetabled activities. The House Parents Team, for which you would be responsible, look after dietary, hygiene, medical and other pastoral issues as well as having responsibility for the safe management of the accommodation buildings.
